Sweni’s location tucked into the riverbank among the trees in Singita Kruger National Park gives it its uniquely peaceful and secluded personality. Spaces inspired by nature

Inspired by the countless birds, plants, insects and other – that call this pocket of nature in the Kruger National Park home, Singita Sweni Lodge is a vibrant reflection of nature.

Designed to invite every aspect of this unique location into the lodge, from the gloss of a beetle shell, or the jewel toned flash of a bird’s wing, to the grounding tones of rock, bark and earth, the spaces feel warm and welcoming, and intricately connected to the wilderness around you. A celebration of the setting, that immediately inspires a deep breath out.

Walking in the wild

While at Sweni you’re always close to nature, venturing out on a bush walk is a way to get into the midst of why you're here in the first place – and to take in the remarkable beauty of the bush, the golden light, the scents and sounds all around you.

Singita's field guides and trackers are deeply in tune with their surroundings – many of our team members have grown up in or on the edges of the bush, while others have studied it passionately. Through their eyes and their knowledge, your experience of walking through the wilderness will leave a lasting impact and even greater reverence for the wild.
